Screen industries meetup
Nine Tree Studios are hosting the first of BCI's 'Screen Industries Meetups' on Thursday 30th Jan from 5:30-9pm.
The event includes a screen industries panel discussion including:
- What can newcomers to the screen industries expect?
- What part does Bristol and the South West play in the screen industries?
- What role does training and education have in keeping talent here and resisting the pull to London or other locations?
Our panellists are:
- Vanessa Bewley – Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer on BA Filmmaking at University of the West of England
- Mark Hill – Executive TV Consultant and ex Head of RDF
- Kate Beetham – Senior TV Executive and ex Documentary Commissioner for the BBC
- Natalie Brereton – TikTok & Social Media Consultant
This event is open to anyone working or who has worked in screen industries. It will allow you to widen networks, make new connections, discuss common problems, and discover potential opportunities for collaboration going forward.
